I’m giving this office 3 stars because my son’s recent orthodontic appointment was not completed properly. During his routine tightening, the assistant changed his wire and applied new bands but forgot to place one band on a tooth. When I called to report the issue, I was told I could return to the office, but there was no estimated wait time for when he would be seen. Since I had to pick up my other child and we live a considerable distance away, it was not possible to return and wait indefinitely. I was then offered the option to visit the Plantation office the following day, but that location is also far from us. As a result, I now have to take another day off work to correct a simple oversight that should have been addressed during the original appointment.

We love this office! They always get us back immediately! We even showed up an hour early prepared to wait but they took my son back and we didn’t have to wait at all. They always allow me to go back with my son and stay in the treatment room with him. All of the staff are friendly and efficient. Dr. McCallum is very thorough and gentle.

My son has been coming here since he was a baby, and over the years we’ve had the chance to see several wonderful dentists. But after today’s visit, I had to stop what I was doing and write this review. My son is on the autism spectrum, and American Pediatric has *always* gone above and beyond to accommodate his needs—far beyond my expectations. Today we saw Dr. Liou for a filling, and the level of care he provided is truly the kind of experience every parent hopes their child will have. From the moment he started, Dr. Liou explained each step to my son in a calm, clear way and consistently checked in with him. He engaged with him patiently and respectfully, not just to “get through” the appointment, but in a way that felt genuine and sincere. It made such a difference for my son, and it left a lasting impression on me. I’m incredibly grateful for Dr. Liou and the entire team at American Pediatric.

I’ve been taking my children to this location for a couple of years now. We landed here after an insurance change. I was very nervous “starting over” but I am extremely happy each time with the service that we receive. The front personnel, technicians/hygienist, nurse, dentist, all the staff…are a pleasure. I must also mention I have a special needs child and they have severe sensory issues and the patience and care that the staff provides blows me away each and every time. It makes what can be a dreadful experience a calm and soothing one. My three children have had very pleasant and comforting experiences. Having a very busy life and a forgetful mind and even with an organized calendar, things can get pass me. Their system of their constant reminders works really great. I’m not sure whose idea it was but I love the concept. From past experiences, calling the office can be a bit frustrating, but that’s just me not liking call centers. I ask to be connected to the office and usually have job issues once I speak with them. The staff is extremely helpful and allows for text, emails, as a means of communication, but keep in mind that you are dealing with the call center, no
